Worship With Us
Come join us at 10 am for morning worship in our sanctuary. All are welcome to share in the worship experience–people of all genders, sexual orientations, races, backgrounds, and theological perspectives. Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, you are welcome at God’s table. Our traditional services follow the three year liturgical calendar; we may not always use those readings as events of the day may move the minister to choose a different reading or topic.
Communion is served the first Sunday of each month and all are welcome to partake, without exception. Using COVID precautions, we have been providing individual communion packets that include a serving of grape juice and a communion wafer. Also on Communion Sundays, we collect a special “two cents a meal” offering to support Presbyterian food help worldwide, and our local food pantry.
Hearing devices are provided at the back of the church by the sound booth if needed.
FPCU is part of the Trumansburg Area Churches organization. These churches from seven denominations take turns hosting an early morning lakeside service at Taughannock Park in July and August in addition to our 10am service. We have also enjoyed holding regular Sunday services under our tent in the great outdoors during the summer season.
