December 22, 2019 – Zechariah’s Song

Focus Scripture – “And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Most High; for you will go before the Lord to prepare his ways, to give knowledge of salvation to his people by the forgiveness of their sins. By the tender mercy of our God, the dawn from on high will break upon us, to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.” (Luke 1:76-9)

December 15, 2019 – Rebuilding the Temple

Focus Scripture – “In the first year of King Cyrus of Persia, in order that the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah might be accomplished, the Lord stirred up the spirit of King Cyrus of Persia so that he sent a herald throughout all his kingdom, and also in a written edict declared: ‘Thus says King Cyrus of Persia: The Lord, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth, and he has charged me to build him a house at Jerusalem in Judah.’” (Ezra 1:1-2)

Message: “Rebuilding the Temple”

Theme: When we look backward, we can learn; when we look forward, we can dream; and when we live in the moment, we can experience the presence of God.

July 14, 2019 – FPCU Hosts the TAC Lake Service

We’ll Worship at the Lake on July 14  as FPCU Hosts the TAC Lake Service 

On Sunday, July 14, the congregation of FPCU will not worship in town but instead will worship with our friends from the Trumansburg Area Churches at 8 a.m. at the North Point of Taughannock Falls State Park on Lake Cayuga as we host this week’s TAC Lake Service. Following worship, we will share a dish-to-pass brunch by the shores of the lake. Please bring your lawn chairs for the service. We invite you to bring a dish-to-pass and your table service for brunch. All are invited and welcome!

Theme: God still speaks to us. We can listen for God.
