Welcome Fall

September 15, 2019 – Our Fall season at FPCU begins this Sunday and we invite you to join us each Sunday morning as we gather together for fellowship, study, and worship. This quarter in worship we will focus on the Hebrew Scriptures beginning with the gift of relationship God gives to people.

Here is some information that you might like to have about this week’s worship service:

Scripture: Genesis 2:4b-25 (p. 2, Pew Bible)

Focus Scripture – And the rib that the Lord God had taken from the man he made into a woman and brought her to the man. Then the man said,
“This, at last, is bone of my bones
and flesh of my flesh;
this one shall be called Woman,
for out of Man this one was taken.”
(Genesis 2:22-23)

Prayer of the Day: Holy Creator, you created women and men in your own image to till the earth and help one another. Give us hearts to continue tending to all that you have made so that the earth will sustain life for generations to come. Amen.
