June 16, 2019, A Series on the Psalms – Part 1

Focus Scripture – “Blessed be the name of the Lord from this time on and forevermore. From the rising of the sun to its setting the name of the Lord is to be praised. (Psalm 113:2-3)

Message: “Praise the Lord with Joy”

Theme: Psalms express the wide range of experiences, thoughts, and emotions of human existence. Praise for God shouts with unabashed joy: “Blessed be the name of the Lord!”

Prayer of the Day: Dearest Lord, You are the reason for our joy and celebration. Help us to share our blessings and stay mindful of them in times when we don’t feel like being joyful. For you have given us an everlasting fulfillment in the gift of your son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
