Story: Luke 24:13-35 (p. 966, Pew Bible)
Sermon: “Companionship, Hospitality, Fellowship, Relationship”
Some things never change: once again alone, two of the followers are walking despondently, still with no real understanding of what had happened. Even with all they had seen they still did not get it. They were unable to suspend belief and believe the impossible. And even when Jesus walked alongside them, still they could not see.
As you prepare for worship think of all the times you have walked and talked, without really listening… and pray for the opportunity to really listen.
