Reflection: The sacrificial lamb is such a richly symbolic image. We who have the wisdom gained from the passage of time know that one of Jesus’ names is Lamb of God. The Passover Lamb was used to mark the Israelites out; to keep them safe; the lamb bought their freedom from slavery. Reflect on the things from which you would like to be freed. Name them in your heart.
