Alzheimer’s Program at FPCU

The Rev. Dr. Cynthia Huling Hummel, a minister within the Presbytery of Geneva, will present a program at FPCU this Sunday at 4 PM on Alzheimer’s and what help the Alzheimer’s Association can provide. She was diagnosed with Mild Cognitive Impairment, a precursor to Alzheimer’s disease in 2011. Her mother died of Alzheimer’s in 2014. Dr. Huling Hummel was recently chosen to serve on the Alzheimer’s Association’s National Early-Stage Advisory Committee. The program will include a PowerPoint Presentation followed by a question and answer session from the Rev. Dr. Huling Hummel. We hope you and other interested people of our community will attend to learn more about this devastating disease.
