Acts 2:1–21
The Holy Spirit gave the early disciples the ability to speak and be heard in other languages. It empowered them to be prophetic witnesses to the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus in the world. God’s love is for all people and all creation. The disciples had the task of sharing that message with the whole world; and we are called to that task today. With the help of the Holy Spirit we can speak and be heard – above the noise, negativity, doubt, and fear that exists in today’s culture and society. May the Holy Spirit make us bold and give us words to comfort and inspire.
This week, be a prophetic witness by telling someone about your faith or an activity you’ve done during Lent or Easter that has made a difference in your faith life.
