Exodus 12:1–14
This week’s reading gives instruction for the first Passover meal. The Passover festival is part of a celebration when the Jewish people remember the beginning of their journey from slavery in Egypt into  freedom. The meal is filled with foods that help them remember how difficult it was to be a slave,                                           but also how loving God is.

What helps you remember how much God loves you?

This week, plan a special meal to celebrate God’s love.
How will you set the space? What foods will you serve?
What music will you play during the meal? With whom
will you share the meal?
Write these words on a piece of construction paper
and use it as a placemat: “I will remember God’s wonderful
love.”
