Exodus 3:1–15

Moses is now far from Egypt on Horeb, the mountain of God, herding sheep. As Moses goes about his everyday life, God sends a message through the most ordinary of things – a bush. God calls Moses to go back to Egypt and free the Israelites from slavery. What seemingly ordinary things might God be using in your own life to call you to be a part of God’s work of liberation?

This week, at the end of each day think back through the day and the signs of God’s presence that you saw around you. Make a list of these in a journal, or in your mobile device and use the list when you pray – giving thanks and praise for God’s constant presence in your life.
