Christmas Eve at FPCU

Join us this Christmas Eve for our Candlelight Festival of Lessons and Carols. We will have an extended Prelude, beginning at 6:45 p.m. so you will want to get to church early. The service itself will begin in the Sanctuary at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 24th and will be followed by a short time of fellowship in the Chapel. We welcome all to this lovely service.

Plans are underway to include instrumentalists at the Christmas Eve service. If you would like to play your brass or woodwind instrument, please contact Marvin Pritts (mpp3@cornell.edu) or Alice Ploss (alice.ploss@gmail.com).

2013 Christmas Plans for the Trumansburg Area Churches

Thursday, December 19th
7 p.m. Blue Christmas Service. The service is organized and hosted by Mecklenburg UMC, and presented by four churches – Mecklenburg UMC, Reynoldsville UMC, First Baptist of Trumansburg and Trumansburg UMC.

Friday, December 20th
7 p.m. Harvest Singers Concert – A local quartet will be providing a Christmas concert for us followed by refreshments – Interlaken Reformed Church

Sunday, December 22nd
* 9 a.m. Coffee Hour/Breakfast followed at 10 a.m. by Worship and Christmas Pageant – Jacksonville Community United Methodist Church
* 9:30 a.m. Advent Worship Service. After the December 22nd worship service, a Birthday Party for Jesus. There will be a birthday cake and everyone is asked to bring new hats and mittens (for children or adults) to the party. The hats and mittens will be distributed to people through the Trumansburg Food Pantry. – Mecklenburg United Methodist Church
* 12:15 p.m. after meeting for worship. Christmas Sharing. We will sing carols and enjoy refreshments. – Perry City Friends

* 7 p.m. Christmas Eve Service – Epiphany
* 7 p.m. Christmas Eve Candlelight Service – Adult & Kid’s Choirs, Carols, Christmas Skit
