Acts 16:16–34
“At the same hour of the night he took them and washed their wounds; then he and his entire family were baptized without delay.” (Acts 16:33)
The Christian apostles act differently than anyone can imagine. Rather than escape from prison, they stay and talk about God’s love with the jailer, who comes to believe. He cares for them, and they baptize him and his family. This is the way of Christian faith – in the midst of everyday living we are able to share the good news of God’s love, and others can come to believe; there is no need for a great fuss. When have you experienced the love of God in the midst of everyday living?
